I’ve been using this FTP client for two months now and have been very comfortable using the software. I’ve been doing website designs and programs and have used this FileZilla FTP client and have been very reliable so far. I used FireFTP before, a Mozilla Firefox addon, it’s also a third party FTP client program but needs Mozilla Firefox Browser, with the same functionalities as FileZilla FTP client but didn’t continue using it because during that time, Mozilla Firefox latest version always crashes whenever I upload large files to the FTP.
I’m also confident that I’m using FileZilla FTP client latest software because they always give you updates and automatically download the latest file in FileZilla website whenever the program detects that it is not the latest version.
Now, I can manage all my websites’ FTP Username and Password and no longer writes them in excel so I can remember it because FileZilla has its own Site Manager which allows you to add all the websites you managed and can instantly connect because the Username and Password is saved there.
And if ever you want to have a quickconnect, you can also use the quickconnect bar, all you need to do is put the 1. Host (ex: ftp://w3downloads.com), 2. Username, 3. Password, and lastly 4. Port which is usually 21.
