Have you been so interested to know SEO? Well, here are some bits of information that I’ll be sharing you. Let me start by differentiating Onsite SEO with Offsite SEO.
SEO have two things: Offsite and Onsite. Onsite means that you are optimizing or adjusting some of your webpage’s code to make it more SEO friendly or is in-line with the search engine guidelines. This includes changing the page title, meta keywords, H1 tag, fixing the duplicate content issue of the site, block irrelevant pages using robots.txt, creating cross links and all other that involves coding. All of these should be relevant and contains the targeted keywords. You can go to The very basics of Search Engine Optimization or SEO for the things that you need to consider with onsite.
Offsite SEO on the other hand is the supporting character of the story. This includes social bookmarking, directory submission, article submission, search engine submission and the most important among all which is link building. Link building is important because it help boost the ranking faster and is more effective than any other submission. SEO before and even some are still doing the reciprocal linking. That means that site A is pointing to your website and your website is pointing to site A. So it’s more like a vice versa link. Now, they have come up with another style which they think is more effective when it comes to link building. It’s more like a two-way process, which is like site A is pointing to your website A and you using website B to point to site A. It is quite complicated at first but in this way links will flow naturally. This is why link exchange or partnership among website owners and webmasters are popular over the internet.
It is very important to have a lot of inbound link pointing to your site, and not just link but good links. There are a lot of SEO Company that offers link building jobs, some in reasonable prices and some in huge amount. You need to be careful in choosing the right company if you want to buy links because some companies are promising something they couldn’t give you in the first place.
Whether it’s onsite or offsite, both of these are important when it comes to SEO.
