Malicious Software also known as malware is a software design to destroy computer system without the owner’s consent. Malware includes worms, Trojan horses, computer virus, and other unwanted software. These infiltrations are used as a way of hacking ones site. Everyday there are a lot of newly produced strand that is bound to affect websites and computer system. That puts everybody’s computer system at risk.
Malware usually has come to design a profit motive, thereby getting ones access on the server or computer system is their main target. If your computer system or website is infected, most likely the details will be sent to the hacker’s own computer and them accessing the site without you knowing it.
If your website has been infected with a malware, first thing to do is to change the FTP access details and then install the latest version of your anti-virus and anti-malware software. Scan your server or computer system with any infiltrations. Upload the cleaned files and then change the FTP access details again. Once this is done, before you log on using the new access details, scan your computer one more time. That should take care of the malware.
We may not be always safe with malicious infiltrations as there are more and more of these kind every single day, but changing the access details regularly would minimize the risk of getting the malware.
I also suggest using the McAfee Stinger Software to remove existing Malwares inside your computer or better yet Zone Alarm Firewall to prevent most of the Malwares to get inside your computer.
